Well I'm sure it stands to reason that if I love bird's nests I also love bird houses. Here are a few that occupy my home. The large red one was hand-made by my Dad. I didn't have the heart to put it outside and subject it to the elements.

Good Morning! I am a friend of Karen's and read that you were going to join us for Pink Saturday at some point. And then I see that you love birdhouses... a thing very close to a magpie's heart. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid I'm a bit obsessed with birdhouses so I can understand your love for them. I don't blame you one bit for not putting that red one outside in the elements. I feel guilty when I have left one too long without attention. I actually like them best inside! My own favorites are a copy of the church I attended as a child and then a yellow house I bought in Maine. And I love each one of yours. How special to have one your father made!
